In April 2007, Joanna Macy led a retreat at the Chapin Mill Retreat Center, engaging the 38 participants in the Great Turning, which she terms “the essential adventure of our time: the shift from the Industrial Growth Society to a life-sustaining civilization.”  Below is a link to see pictures from this event (photographs by Patricia A.
